Background
After growing up in Davis, I attended Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo for my B.A. in Human Development, and then graduated from Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. with my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling.
I worked as a counselor at the Washington State School for the Deaf for three years before returning to California. Working as a bereavement counselor at Yolo Hospice has been a highlight of my career, as it solidified my passion for working with people who are grieving. Given that going through a separation or divorce often involves feelings of grief, this topic greatly connects with my interests as well.
My extensive training in Co-Parenting, Collaborative Divorce and Meaning Reconstruction Grief Work lends me to have the experience to work in these areas and the diversity of my work excites me, as each day is different.
